How does the dryCEPT® work?

dryCEPT® consists of a PEF generator and a conveyor belt with a built-in PEF chamber. It is installed and retrofitted into existing production lines right after the preprocessing (sorting, washing) and before steam washing, cutting, and drying.

The application consists of short square wave pulses of high voltage that generate very high electric fields.

Due to the short of microseconds magnitude we achieve good treatment and results without excessive heating and electrolytic reactions are minimized.
