La tecnología de campo eléctrico pulsado (PEF, por sus siglas en inglés) es un método de procesamiento de alimentos no térmico que utiliza pulsos eléctricos de alto voltaje y baja energía para romper las membranas celulares del producto tratado.

 

PEF tiene varias ventajas en el procesamiento de alimentos sobre otras tecnologías de esterilización, como la pasteurización por calor. Es más rápido, requiere menos energía y puede ser más selectivo para matar microorganismos. La tecnología PEF también conserva o mejora el color, el sabor, la textura y los valores nutricionales originales.

OPTICEPT® L7 Series - PEF system for liquid foods

The OPTICEPT® L7 is a state-of-the-art PEF system specifically designed for the liquid food processing industry and brings distinct advantages to this sector.

 

The OPTICEPT® L7 system enables increased extraction, improved efficiency, maximum performance, and superior quality of liquid products. The PEF (pulsed electric field) system integrates into the existing processing line and is designed to manage multiple capacities.

 

Currently, OptiCept offers tailored solutions within olive oil (The OPTICEPT® LO7), and juice (LJ7), for other liquid foods, we offer the L7 model.

The OPTICEPT®  S7 series is a state-of-the-art PEF system developed by FPS Food Process Solutions in collaboration with OptiCept Technologies. It is specifically designed for the solid food processing industry and brings distinct advantages to this sector.

The OPTICEPT®  S7 system consists of a PEF generator and a conveyor belt system with a built-in PEF chamber.

Currently, OptiCept offers tailored solutions within potato processing (The OPTICEPT® SP7), and dried fruits and vegetables (SD7), for other solid foods, we offer the S7 model.

OPTIBOOST® - Unleashing the full potential off plant materials

With the OPTIBOOST®  vacuum infusion platform, we impregnate plant material with a nutrient solution – a functionalized nutrient solution based on the third generation of nanotechnology.

 

Vacuum enables the solution to impregnate as efficiently as possible, and the solution itself is optimized to deliver the highest possible amount of nutrients.

 

With the OPTIBOOST® platform, the plant material is impregnated with liquid carefully designed to enrich the cut flower or cutting to support its optimal performance. The active ingredients are infused directly into the tissue of different organs: leaves and stems. From there, they are easily accessible by the plant and utilized in the metabolic processes.

 

The results are increased yields, higher quality, reduced waste, and increased sales. 

OPTIBOOST® CF1 - VI System

By combining vacuum infusion with a state-of-the-art nutrient solution based on the latest nanotechnology, we help growers, wholesalers, and retailers create the optimal cut flower experience.

 

The system consists of one main unit and three chambers. The OPTIBOOST® method impregnates natural ingredients into the flower’s stem and green leaves.

The technology and the application used during the process are unique and designed for treating plant materials like cut flowers and flower cuttings. A system of three chambers and one main unit can treat up to 40.000 roses/hour.

OPTIBOOST® FC1 - VI System

The OPTIBOOST® vacuum impregnation (VI) technology improves the rooting and growth of cuttings and thereby decreases losses of eucalyptus and tropical clone cuttings propagation.

 

There are numerous benefits for the forest industry generated by the OptiBoost™ method. Including better rooting quality, acceleration of root formation, and an increase in the nursery’s capacity.

 

The patented system consists of one treatment unit and one control unit. The OPTIBOOST® method impregnates natural ingredients into the cuttings. The technology and the application used during the process are unique and designed for treating plant materials like forest, ornamental, and flower cuttings. The plant material is impregnated with liquid that is carefully designed to enrich the cuttings and support their optimal performance.

 

One machine can treat up to 30,000 cuttings/hour. If needed, capacity can easily be increased thanks to a modular design.
